its actually an incomplete piece...coz my inspiration left before i could complete....still it speaks most of the sentiments... :)
There’s so much on earth i cant define,
Likely to b just decisions divine.
Why did he think to try something new
When the world could do with ppl few??
He thought of a masterpiece but still moved on
To design a treacherer, a master of con
And whoa! They arrived on earth
In the form of Adam, took the first one birth.
Since then, ages hav passed,
And till date they continue with tactics vast.
To win someway the most honoured prize
To find admiration in some worthy eyes.
It surprises me how they never fail to try
To show their understanding, fake laughter or cry
A moment ago, all strong and manly,
Then for another one, so different suddenly..

On a serious note, it wouldn't be fair to call all of the "man"kind dog since you yourself know so few of them.
Generalization is easy to use, but a very deceptive tool. But your thoughts are true for some people though. The so called 'studs' are mostly fake. In sociological terms, they are just trying to copy the few word speaking, yup-nope uttering, do not mess with me attitude of movie cowboys. This "attitude" was made famous by old Hollywood blockbusters and carried forward all over world by media.
And Sonal ... try to complete the poem ... after getting more experience from life. May be you will change the title of poem :P

the poem for one is too biased and i think written in a particular offensive/sadistic mood. the same (or even much more)can b said of the opposite sex too.
in my opinion if the referral by 'the most honoured prize' is to the fairer sex then the statement would be a bit over-rated. and i would like to point out that neither of the sex can live in isolation and even beauty is not self fulfilling. it ceases to exist or hold relevance unless there is someone to admire it. so infact it is men whose presence make women beautiful.
what i do like about the poem is that u have deliberately tried to rhyme and succeeded quite well. would have loved to know on what note u would have completed it...

By using "all men" you are deriding not only those who deserve to be, but EVERYBODY you have known since you took your first step.. and of course, other benevolent, philanthropists who cant even pinch an elephant, let alone perform any transgression of betrayal.
I just pray no goddess ever pays heed to your eruption; because if they do and if there is any resonance, the whole mankind will just rot in hell for ever and ever

Well nice read ... i think u need to hear the song "Ladki kyun " from Hum Tum .. it entertains this endless debate in a very cute manner !! Anyways I read the poem coz the title was very enticing and had to leave a comment coz the literature is gr8 ...

no prejudice here, most of us can be dogs, but then some are just awesome :P like me, hehe.
the same goes true for girls, most of em can be complete idiots, so its an interesting situation.
as for the try part, i guess my last email does explain that its the cliche of having to make the first move, we pretty much have to do it :-)
