Looking through a colorful haze,
beyond the world of nights and days,
Lost in the words of a silent song
how I wish for this reverie to prolong
I close my eyes, let imagination brew
walking down this lone avenue,
Truths held off, and words deferred,
axioms erased and memories blurred
Forlorn I stand, numb in this mist
where the mind is closed and fallacies exist
A prosaic life, never made sublime
while I steal these moments from time.
